Listen to my agony for a minute.
Can you hear it?
How I'm so scared and you're so cold.

I've been in this bed for a long time now,
since I heard the whole world shattering
around my edges.

I didn't know
it would have been so frightening
listening to the dull sound of my ashes
as they were being wiped out
by your every word.

What's left of this life of mine?
Who will I become with someone else
wrapped around my fragile heart?

The danger is terrifying.

But I'm so glad
I can still design a life out of this body of mine
and on the way there,
asking myself:
"How are you?"
for the very first time.
