MARCH FAVOURITES

It's been quite a while since I've done of one these, hasn't it? Almost a year! Wow. Time does fly.
But since I'm back on the blogging bandwagon, I thought, why not go a little bit old school and grace this space of the Internet with a favourites post? So here's everything I've been loving in March, I hope you find this useful and check out all the things and have fun and maybe I'll see you with one of these next month? Yeah?
Now I'll stop rumbling and start with the faves...

   MOVIES & TV

Now, hear me out on this, okay? I've been a huge fan of Roswell growing up, it was my daily bread along with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gilmore Girls so I was a little bit sceptical when I heard they were going to make a reboot of this show - alright, honestly, I was mad and went a little bit crazy because it was so perfect in its basic alien special effects that I thought they're gonna ruin it!!!
But I couldn't restrain myself from giving the pilot a little peak and then also watch episode two and now I'm on episode six and it's GOOD. I know, I'm surprised too but it's seriously so so so good and yes, I'm a little bit mad that my favourite couple - Maria & Michael for those who are wondering - isn't a couple and that I thought at first that Michael was gay. Nothing against it, honestly, but I love them so much I just couldn't believe it. But we're good now since Michael is bi and although he's kinda in love with Alex - still wrapping my head around this piece of information but secretly loving it - you cannot deny the attraction between the OG couple. So we're good. Roswell New Mexico? Big thumbs up!

   BOOKS

By far my favourite thing and we all know it. I've been in a what seemed like an endless reading slump, cured by the fact that some Publishing Houses gave me the chance to work with them so it's been quite an interesting reading month.
Starting with The Near Witch by V.E.Schwab. It was such a nice read! Filled with magic and old school witches and mysteries and if you haven't read it yet, what are you doing with your life? I've been also part of the Instagram tour so you can check out my short review on my Instagram but if you want to wait, I'll be posting a longer and more detailed review here on the blog shortly. So watch this space.

The other book I've read in March - and my most anticipated for April and my absolute favourite I've read this month! - is The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman. This book had me SHOOK!
I don't wanna talk about it in full depth, especially because I'm part of the Instagram Book Tour so you can read a short review on the 22nd of April but I will also post a longer review on the blog once it comes out so I can dive into spoilers without risking anyone's sanity. I need to talk about this book so much!! But if you absolutely loved The Raven Cycle then you will want to check this one out. It's crazy good!

   PODCAST& MUSIC

We all know Podcasts are having a moment right now, and I'm here for it.
I've been listening lots of them but the one I'm stuck with is Exciting Emails hosted by Vix Meldrew. If you love blogging and want tips and advice on how to grow your following, why you should build an email list, and other blogging tricks, then go give it a listen, it's my absolute favourite night now!

I've been listening to a lot of new music lately and although I have Sucker by the Jonas Brothers on repeat, I'm also listening to a lot of James Bay, especially Peer Pressure, such a great song!! But if you're longing for hot summer nights and chilled mornings on the way to the beach then Wallows are your guys! My absolute favourites are 1980's Horror Film and Are You Bored Yet? Good stuff, folks.

   IN MY WARDROBE

If you know me then you know I like to spend my money where I can see it: on my bookshelves but I also love clothes so much it's a miracle I'm not broke yet. I mean, not that broke anyway. I've been trying new stores through the years and I think I found my favourites that also don't leave me starving because I can't afford food. #relatable
I found this sweatshirt and if you follow me on Instagram then you know I can't seem to take it off any time soon, but I love it and it's so snuggly and oversize and warm and basically had all the things I look for in winter wear: practical and cool.

I've also found a pair of leather (fake because I'm all about protecting animals even in snake form) patent boots which are so comfy and warm and even though they're not really summer appropriate, I will sweat it off (quite literally) and wear them this Summer too, maybe with a skirt? Me? What?

   PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET

There's no secret here that I live on the Internet, right? Kidding, but honestly, the Internet is filled with the most amazing people and you just have to find them to make your life or your work - or both! - a lot better.
For example, I've been on a rut when it comes to work, lately. Blogging and writing weren't really happening and I was feeling very bad about it because I'm a writer and I couldn't just do it, you know what I mean? But I've stumbled upon Cheyenne Barton's Youtube channel and now I'm basically Rhianna singing work work work work work! Also, The Daily Edit helped me a lot during this time, especially the capsule wardrobe but we can't talk about people on the Internet without talking about my pal over at The Bibliotheque  we've been talking so much and about books and other things, especially this nonsense thing where International Book Bloggers don't get as many opportunities as those living in the US/UK - you should read her post about it so we can all get mad together, okay?

   MISCELLANEOUS

And finally, a round-up of all my favourite things that don't really fit into boxes like the fact that I have re-branded my blog and I now have a new design thanks to my pal Gabriela! I'm so excited about it and it was really needed, especially because now I get so motivated to write and post! I'm thrilled!
Along with getting a new design, I also have a new laptop which was essential because I couldn't do any writing on my old laptop and we all know I have a novel to finish and another two hundred to start so it was vital for me to have a new working laptop.
Have I mentioned I cut my hair? Again? Yes. The thing is, the more you cut it, the more you want to cut it so now I kinda have a long bob that barely touches my shoulders and I bloody love it! I style it in no time and it doesn't sit at that awkward length where it's not short nor long but it's just bleah. You know what I mean?

Your turn!
Have you read some amazing books or watched mind-blowing movies? Tell me all about them!
